Director of Training / Outreach Coordinator Counseling Center University of Indianapolis
The Director of Training/Outreach Coordinator is a 10 month position with the possibility of becoming a 12 month position in the next academic year. This position has responsibility for providing mental health services to clients including individual and group counseling, psycho-education, and consultative services to students, parents, and university community members as well as other potential duties as assigned by the Director of the Counseling Center related to the programs and mission of the Ulndy Health & Wellness, Counseling Center.
Additionally the Director of Training retains primary responsibility for administrative oversight of the pre-doctoral clinical psychology training program including developing and implementing the didactic training sessions and creating, formulating, implementing, and evaluating policies and procedures in collaboration with the Director of the Student Counseling Center related to the pre-doctoral practicum training program. The Coordinator of Outreach has primary responsibility in administrative oversight of the outreach activities important to the University and student counseling center mission. Position includes organizing and staffing outreach events in accordance with trainee needs and schedules and working with the Direct or to plan the overall schedule of outreach/prevention programming for each academic year.

Qualifications: In order to be considered, applicants must have obtained a Doctoral Degree in Psychology, be a Health Service Provider in Psychology, and be licensed in the state of Indiana. Additionally, candidates must have a minimum of two years of post-doctoral work, prior experience with college student populations, and prior supervisory/training experience with doctoral students.
