The Integrated Behavioral Health Psychologist is a member of a multidisciplinary team, who has experience in assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and crisis intervention services for adult and/or pediatric patients, for broad range of behavioral health needs. This position is an exciting opportunity for a growth minded Ph.D/Psy.D. who has leadership experience, and collaborates well with treating provider(s), care management, and allied health professional team to plan and direct care according to best practice standards. This individual will be responsible for consulting and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to meet departmental and organizational goals, in addition to direct care responsibilities. Knowledge regarding integrated care models of delivery important, practice in a healthcare setting where these models are implemented preferred.
Individuals with a background in Health Psychology, and familiarity with SUD and non-opioid pain management, highly values. Psychologists with training in prescriptive authority also considered a great asset to our team.
Education/Certification/License: Doctoral degree in Psychology and at least three years post graduate experience required. Licensed Psychologist or License Eligible in the State of Indiana.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Psychology, Integrated Behavioral Health experience preferred • Ability to provide substance use disorder counseling preferred • Experience with Medicare/Medicaid preferred • Experience with multiple EHR/EMR systems / Competence and experience with electronic charting • Ability to work collegially with staff members from multiple offices • Ability to manage multiple patients simultaneously • Ability and willingness to communicate in a positive, effective manner, internally and externally. • Ability to build and maintain relationships with patients, families and client providers • A background and ability to work with populations with special needs • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Self-directed with the ability to work independently and in groups • Exceptional time management skills, with a high level of individual initiative • Detail oriented with strong organizational, planning, and problem solving skills • Can be depended upon to effectively plan and organize multiple assignments to ensure workload’s completion, yet flexible enough to handle changing schedules
