The Staff Psychologist recognizes deficits and problems which may be encountered in a diverse patient population with varying and complex medical and/or psychological problems in achieving satisfactory psychological adjustment. The incumbent ensures that all Healthcare System patients referred for psychological evaluation and/or treatment are provided appropriate services in a comprehensive, unified manner, and on a timely basis.
