Create and maintain and safe and therapeutic environment.We provide care to people in recovery from substance abuse disorders Performs routine duties and delegated assignments under the supervision of the program manager, unit nurse and/or other designee to help meet the mission and goals of quality care and service in Behavioral Services. Responsible for providing safe, effective and timely actions to ensure safe observation of medication self-administration under the direction of the staff RN.Participates in the admission procedure.
Physical Demands: Standing, walking, reaching above shoulders, reaching waist level, reaching below knee, climbing, lifting above shoulders <10-20 lbs, lifting waist level 50 lbs, lifting below knee 50 lbs, writing, pushing, hearing, squat/kneeling, repetitive actions, keyboarding, speaking, seeing/visual. 6 months experience with direct patient care in a behavioral services, recovery services or mental health setting or completion of 1 year post high school education in a human services related field. Prefer Post High School education in a human services related field,1-3 years experience in Recovery Services and knowledge of AA/NA 12 step program. We can recommend jobs specifically for you!
