The position will be in the Primary Care service and will report directly to the Chief of Primary Care. Recruitment and Relocation incentive may be authorized for highly qualified candidates. Duties will include: Evaluate and treat the following body systems: skin, eye, ear, nose, throat, cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, urologic, reproductive, nervous, endocrine, musculoskeletal and hematology. Assess of patients ongoing medical, physical, and psychological status. Obtain and document comprehensive medical and phycological history and physical examination. Order appropriate diagnostic test. Review and interpret laboratory and take appropriate action. Formulate and record diagnostic impressions. Refer patients to consultations with specialty clinics. Provide medical advice to patients, care givers and community health providers. Manage chronic medical problems. Manage minor acute medical problems. Document patient care in the electronic health records system within time limits. Enter orders, consults, testing etcetera into proprietary health management systems. Attends Medical Center and community meeting, seminars and conferences. Other duties as assigned. Preferred experience: Board eligible or Board Certified. Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm, schedules may vary depending on the needs of the service. Financial Disclosure Report: Not required
