MHealth Fairview Adult Outpatient Mental Health Programs offers the full continuum of outpatient mental health and addiction services to patients. This includes the Adult Partial Hospitalization Program, Adult Dual Disorder Program, Adult Day Treatment and Intensive Outpatient Program and the 55+ Program. Patients are referred to programming after completion of a diagnostic assessment and determination of an appropriate level of care to address their clinical needs.
This licensed psychotherapist position will provide group therapy and education to patients recommended to our intensive outpatient program (IOP). In our new Admissions IOP, Patients will have timely access to care and spend the first week focused on an introduction to group-based services, crisis stabilization, self-awareness, treatment planning and engagement strategies. Patients will transition to one of several intensive outpatient program tracks with peer groups that best match their specific needs. Recommendations are based on similar diagnosis, symptoms, age, life circumstances and schedule options. This licensed psychotherapist role is part of a multi-disciplinary team which also includesoccupational therapists, registered nurses, and a psychiatrist.
Services are offered via telehealth, with current options for employees to work remotely or onsite at the University of Minnesota Medical Center, West Bank in Minneapolis. We will be returning some services to in-person and all positions are considered "mobile" which may provide opportunities to split time between remote and in-person options. The Admission Intensive Outpatient Program is based out of St Joseph's Hospital in St. Paul and may provide in-person options at that location in the future.
Licensed Psychotherapist facilitates group psychotherapy and psych-education for patients.
Licensed Psychotherapist determines clinical interventions, facilitates treatment planning, coordinates transition, provides case management and crisis intervention as needed. Documentation is completed in the Electronic Health Record.
Staff may work across programs with a variety of mental health populations and position provides ongoing opportunity for growth and development.
LP, LICSW, LPCC or LMFT (Doctorate level LP preferred).
Basic Life Support Certification
2 years of supervised therapy experience in mental health assessment, individual, group or family therapy.
