The PA is responsible for the care and administrative needs of mental health patients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. This PA will be fully qualified and certified to function in both a clinical and administrative role and accordance with the guidelines and policies of the Durham Veterans Affairs Health Care System. The PA functions as a coordinator between the attending physician and other members of the patients' care team. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
