LCSW - Mental Health
OverviewThe BH Licensed Clinician (BHLC) performs a full range of mental health services on an assigned inpatient unit and/or hospital program. The BHLC is responsible for the provision of mental health and substance use services at WakeMed via in person and tele assessments. The BHLC interviews patients and families, completes Psychiatric and Substance use psychosocial and clinical assessments, diagnoses patients using DSM-5, ICD10-codes, develops treatment plans, and offers appropriate crisis intervention/supportive counseling/social work interventions.
