As a Behavioral Health Program Manager, you will coordinate behavioral health programs across SCL Health, primarily focused on suicide prevention efforts using the Zero Suicide Model. The program manager works with system partners and care sites to ensure consistent implementation of mental health screenings and suicide prevention protocols, educational programming coordination, data analysis and improvement efforts. Identifies and supports local, regional, and statewide community partners.

Your day.
As a Behavioral Health Program Manager, you need to know how to:

Builds and maintains ongoing partnerships with key stakeholders including behavioral health agencies, public health agencies and school systems to understand and address community needs.

Serves on committees, work groups, and task forces throughout SCL Health and care sites related to suicide prevention, at-risk populations and other behavioral health issues. Supports and may provide oversight to site behavioral health teams and behavioral health payer programs.

Implements and evaluates, in partnership with Communications and Marketing, media campaign messaging for behavioral health programs, including but not limited to Zero Suicide, both internally and externally.

Responsible for implementation and maintenance of Zero Suicide program across SCL Health care sites; timely submission of Colorado state deliverables.

Increase knowledge and integration of suicide risk assessment, prevention strategies and resources available in the community with ambulatory and acute providers and care teams.
Your experience.

Masterâ™s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program

Current valid LCSW license in State of practice.

Minimum of two years' experience in behavioral health or related field

Minimum of one year working with adult/adolescent populations within an inpatient setting.
Preferred:
-
Certified trainer in evidence-based suicide prevention/postvention and/or related training (e.g., ASIST, MHFA, QPR, etc.).

Two years' experience working in the prevention, intervention and/or mental health field is preferred.

Two years' relevant experience with community health improvement is preferred.
